Stitches Used: sl st (c), sc, dc, tc - triple crochet
BAG
To Start: Ch 6 sts, join.
Round 1: Ch 2, dc 6 into ch loop, join.
Round 2: Ch 2, 2 dc into each dc, join - 12 sts.
Round 3: Ch 2, (2 dc into next dc, dc next dc) rep to end of round, join - 18 sts.
Round 4: Ch 2, 2 dc into each dc, join - 36 sts.
Round 5: Ch 2, (2 dc into next dc, 1 dc into each next 2 dc) rep to end of rnd, join - 48 sts.
Round 6: Ch 6, (tr into next dc, ch 3) rep to end of round, join.
Round 7: (ch 3, tr into next ch loop) rep until bag is desired depth (sample bag is 15” long from start of netting)
Work remainder of bag in spirals, repeating round 7 with no starting chain at beg of rounds.
FINISHING
Sc all ch and tr sts from last round, sc two more rounds, FO - do not break yarn!
Handles
To Start: With attached yarn, ch 72 sts, join to st 1/4 around circumfrence of bag top with a sl st, turn.
Row 1: Sc into top edge of bag, then sc into each ch along handle edge
to ch 30, 1 dc into each next 12 ch st, 1 sc into each ch along rem sts
in handle to starting point, attach to point next to first ch with sl
st, turn.
Row 2: Repeat Row 1, then work 1 more work with no dc sts, working those sts in sc.
Row 3: 1 sc in each st along handle, sl st to top edge of bag and sl st around 1/4 along top of bag.
Rep Rows 1-3 for second handle. FO.
Attached Bag Case
To Start: Turn bag inside out. At edge where netting begins at bottom of bag, sc 48 sts into existing 48 dc.
Round 1: 1 dc into each sc.
Rounds 2 & 3: Rep Round 1.
Round 4: (1 sc into next dc, sk 1 dc) rep to end of round, FO - 24 sts.
When bag is turned inside out it can be tucked into the little case which is now attached to the inside bottom of the bag
