Tackle the technique of toe up socks by creating a simple “Mutt-Luk” (booties for dogs).
By working up this fun and non-threatening project, you’ll learn basic techniques such as
- Toe Cast On,
- Basic Shaping,
- Use of double pointed needles or 2 circular needles,
- Creating a Peasant Heel,
- Kitchner Stitch & Elastic Bind Off
Students may choose to finish their projects as mutt-luks, or as small drawstring puppy treat bags.
Students should bring at least 50yds of smooth, worsted weight yarn & one set of double pointed or 2 circular needles that will work well with your chosen yarn.
